Appreciating Swan Lake is music, not ballet.
The music of the ballet Swan Lake was created by Tchaikovsky, who raised the ballet music to the level of symphonic music, and was praised as "the first time to make the dance work have the soul of music". Tchaikovsky improved the expressive force of ballet music and deepened the drama of his works by depicting the characters. In Swan Lake, he expressed poetic mood with romantic and lyrical brushwork, portrayed the hero's beautiful and pure character and faithful love, and described the contradictions and conflicts of hostile forces with majestic dramatic power. This is a classic dance drama, which is worth watching ~ ~ Just like all music, it uses tones to express what music wants to express; For example, the slow and solemn minor melody in the overture indicates the tragic ending of the swan princess's final death-generally speaking, symphonies use overture to distinguish whether the content is comedy or tragedy, just as the porch during decoration is the condensation of the whole interior decoration concept. Moreover, the melody contains a strong sense of Russian dignity (see Rachmanif's Piano Concerto No.2), which further strengthens this sense of tragedy.
