Liu Chan was the last monarch of Shu in the Three Kingdoms period. Speaking of Shu Wang's national subjugation, I actually don't feel sorry for him, because he lived thoroughly and happily. To some extent, he can be judged as "smart as a fool". Unlike Cao Wei, Shu has many monarchs, including Liu Bei and Liu Chan. After Liu Bei died in Yong 'an Palace, Liu Chan ascended the throne in Chengdu at the age of seventeen. There was a legend about Liu Chan's experience here, which was recorded in Wei Lue. When Liu Bei was in Xiaopei, he didn't expect Cao Cao's army to arrive. In desperation, he abandoned his wife and children and went straight to Jingzhou. At that time, Liu Chan was only a few years old, wandering around, following people into Hanzhong, and even being sold. It was not until Jane and Zhang Lu found him that he was made a prince. But although this story is bizarre, it was categorically denied by historian Pei Songzhi, so it can only be regarded as a reference. In the sixth year of Jing Yao, Wargo defeated Shu general Zhuge Zhan in Mianzhu. Liu Chan panicked, concentrated and adopted Qiao Zhou's plan. What is that? That is surrender. Liu Bei's hard-earned land was wasted. It is worth mentioning that his son, Liu Chen, is quite a bit strong-willed. According to "Han Shu Jin Shu Chun Qiu", Liu Chen was very angry when he heard that he was going to surrender. He urged his father and son to make a last stand and defend his country to the death. Otherwise, how could he be worthy of the late emperor? However, Liu Chan may have seen through the general trend and didn't accept Liu Chen's suggestion, so he sent the seal out. On the same day, Liu Chen cried in Zhaolie Temple, and then killed his wife before committing suicide. After Liu Chan's surrender, it is said that Si Mazhao once hosted a banquet for Liu Chan and performed a song and dance of Shu for him. "Everything is not for people, and tears flow first." All Shu officials here are a little sad, except Liu Chan, who smiles and looks happy. A day later, I asked if I missed Shu very much. Liu Chan replied, "I am very happy here. I don't miss Shu at all." This is the origin of the idiom "not making progress".
Sun Hao was the last monarch of Wu during the Three Kingdoms period. If Cao Huan is regrettable and Liu Chan is honest and clean, then Sun Hao, the king of Wu's national subjugation, is unforgivable. After Sun Quan's grandson, Sun He's son Sun Hao, and Sun Xiu's death, the king of Wu, Prime Minister Pu Yangxing and General Zhang Bu listened to people's words, saying that Sun Hao only knew what was right, and tried to persuade Empress Zhu to make him emperor. Poor Queen Zhu, a widow, can't tell right from wrong. She just listens to the ministers and welcomes Sun Hao. This establishment has ushered in a fatal disaster for itself. After Sun Hao ascended the throne, he changed his previous monarch image and became suspicious, lewd and cruel. When Pu Yangxing and Zhang Bu saw that they had set up such goods, they were remorseful and spoke ill of Sun Hao involuntarily. Hearing this, Sun Hao killed Pu Yangxing and Zhang Bu, no matter who rose to the throne. And soon after, he killed the two sons of Empress Zhu and the late emperor Sun Xiu. Throughout Sun Hao's life, one thing has always been with him, and that is killing people. He has a concubine who once indulged his subordinates in robbing people's property in the market. At that time, Cynthia, the mayor of our company, thought that he was Sun Hao's favorite, so she handled it fairly and brought the criminals to justice. This is a disaster. Sun Hao complained to Sun Hao that he loved his concubine, which made Sun Hao furious. He used other things as an excuse to sentence Cynthia to beheading, which was cruel. Fortunately, such a tyrant didn't let him take power for long. In the fourth year of Tianji, Sun Hao, the last monarch of Wu, surrendered and was sealed for life. Such a cruel monarch can finally enjoy the splendor, which really makes people feel unwilling. In the fifth year of Taikang, Sun Hao died in Luoyang at the age of 42.
