The village name of Jincun is related to Jinyong City. The site of Jinyong City was built not far from the northwest of Jincun (the northwest corner of the ancient city of Han and Wei Dynasties) during the Three Kingdoms period in Wei Mingdi. In the Northern Wei Dynasty, the capital was moved to Luoyang, and Emperor Xiaowen lived in Jinyong City because he had no palace. At the end of the period, Jin Yong City was another military center, where Shi Biao was stationed for two years. At the beginning of the Tang Dynasty, Luoyang County was located in Jinyong City, and Zhenguan moved to Dudong Yudeling in six years. Since then, Jin Yongcheng has abolished the emperor. At the beginning of the Ming Dynasty, a large number of immigrants from Hongdong, Shanxi Province poured in and settled in the southeast of Jinyong, which had been abandoned for more than 700 years. During Hongzhi's reign, Longwang Temple was built, forming a well-known market town. The village was named Jincun, which was renamed Jincun after the founding of the People's Republic of China.
