Qiancheng is the seat of hongjiang city City, with a long history and outstanding people. In the fifth year of Emperor Gaozu (202 BC), Gancheng County was established, Wuyang County was established in Jin Dynasty, and Longbiao County was established in Sui Dynasty. Wuzhou and Yuanzhou were established in the Tang Dynasty, Syria was established in the Five Dynasties, and Qianyang County was established in the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. During the Republic of China, the fourth office of Hunan Province was established. Qiancheng is the abbreviation of Qianyang Ancient City.
For thousands of years, the Dong, Miao, Yao and Han nationalities living in the ancient city of Qianyang have jointly created brilliant history and culture. The historical relics of Qin Wang's conquest of Yue and Zhuge Liang's conquest of people are still there. The poems of Wang Changling and Li Bai, poets in the prosperous Tang Dynasty, are still alive, and the poems of famous calligraphers Long Qirui and Wang Jixian in the Qing Dynasty are still fragrant.

Furong Building is famous for commemorating Wang Changling. It is the place where poets of all ages wrote poems. Built in the 20th year of Jiaqing in Qing Dynasty (18 15), it was built on the top of a mountain with double eaves. The plaque of "Furong Building" is hung on the second floor, surrounded by stone fences and towering old trees. The main building has vermilion columns and carved birds on the doors and windows, which are absolutely exquisite. On the doorpost on the first floor, there is a couplet "Heaven and earth are far away from the pavilion, all generations of floating life are guests, hibiscus is empty, and personnel are as beautiful as flowers for a hundred years". The portrait and calligraphy rubbings of Wang Changling, the champion of the Qing Dynasty, are displayed in the building. Climbing the building overlooking, the scenery is beautiful and refreshing, and it is known as the "first floor of southern Chu".
Furong Tower Monument Gallery is a treasure of ancient art in China. There are more than 200 memorial halls here, such as Magu Mountain Xiantan written by Yan Zhenqing, a calligrapher in the Tang Dynasty, Xishan Academy written by Mi Fei, and House Selection written by Huang Tingjian, as well as calligraphy inscriptions written by Yue Fei, a general in the west, Zhao Mengfu, a calligrapher and painter, and Long Qirui, the champion of Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty. This collection of inscriptions with high artistic value is the most complete, rich and unique record of Xiangchu culture.
Wang Changling, whose real name is Shao Bo, was born in Chang 'an, Jingzhao, the first year of Li Tiansheng in Tang Dynasty. He is a famous frontier poet in the Tang Dynasty, and is known as "the Seven Wonders of Heaven" and "the poet's son of heaven". In the fifteenth year of Kaiyuan (727), he was a scholar, and was awarded the secretary of provincial studies, and later learned macro words. In the seventh year of Tianbao (748), he was demoted as a captain of Longbiao (now Qiancheng) for the crime of "ignoring details and slandering boiling". Poets are called "virtuous guards" because of their incorruptibility, good governance and good people's security.
Pavilion is the place where Wang Changling, a great poet in the Tang Dynasty, sends poems to see guests off. The poet once left a farewell song "There is a piece of ice in the jade pot" here. Because the old pavilion was abandoned, Qing Jiaqing was rebuilt on the banks of Wushui River in the 20th year. There is a patent inscription by Wang, a scholar in the Qing Dynasty, on the pavilion column: "Famous flowers have a full moon, and cold rain has sent guests aboard." There are stone tables and chairs in the pavilion for tourists to have a rest and enjoy the scenery.
