Weiyuan County is a county under the jurisdiction of Neijiang City, Sichuan Province, located in the south-central Sichuan Basin. Weiyuan county is divided into two landforms: low mountains and hills. Rich in mineral resources, it belongs to subtropical monsoon climate. Neijiang City is adjacent to Shizhong District in the east, Jin Kui District and Gongjing District in Zigong City in the south, Rongxian County in Zigong City in the west, Zizhong County in the north and Renshou County in Meishan City and Jingyan County in Leshan City in the northwest.
