Where is Shouyang Mountain in Luoyang located?

Shouyang Mountain is the highest point of Mang Mountain in Yanshi. It is located to the north of the ancient city of Han and Wei Dynasties. It is named because "at the beginning of sunrise, the light must reach first". After the imperial tombs of the Wei and Jin Dynasties, most of them were buried in Shouyang Mountain. Shouyang Mountain stretches for more than 30 miles from east to west, and each hilltop here has a specific mountain name. Boyi and Shuqi temples were built on the top of Guozi Mountain.

In the Eight Scenes of Yanshi, "the clear dawn first looks at the sea and the sun is red" refers to the first sunny dawn. Standing on the top of the mountain, looking to the east, the rays of light are like a coating, the colors are gorgeous, and a red sun is gushing out, which is very spectacular. To the north, you can see the towering Taihang; to the south, you can see Zhongyue Songshan Mountain; to the west, you can see the hazy Yique, with the ancient capital faintly visible; to the east, you can see the Song Tombs covered with undulating hills and mountains. Looking around, the fertile fields are green, the crops are prosperous, and they are full of vitality.
