What are the sayings about the origin of pagodas in Huanglong Nature Reserve?

In Huanglong Nature Reserve, you can often see white pagodas. Against the background of blue sky and white clouds, the stupa is particularly holy and solemn, forming a unique religious and cultural landscape.

There are two theories about the origin of stupa: one is that the prototype of stupa was formed in India. According to historical records, after the death of ancient Indian princes and nobles, they were all buried underground and built semi-circular arched tombs with mud and stones. After the death of the monk, the arched tomb was built more tall and spectacular, and later it gradually evolved into a stupa.

Another way of saying it is that after the death of Sakyamuni, the ancestor of Buddhism, disciples cremated his body and got mysterious relics. Believers piously built tall and majestic tower-shaped tombs to worship Buddha relics.

Later, this method of burying the ashes of Buddhist monks was popularized by Buddhist temples all over the world, so more and more pagodas were built and became the holy places of Buddhist temples.
