According to the local people, the wall of Linfeng Village was originally an earth wall built in the late Ming Dynasty. In the first year of Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty (A.D. 1862), the Zhu brothers rebuilt the village wall after they made a fortune, and changed the earth wall into a stone wall from red stone. The reconstructed Linfeng Village covers an area of 70,000 square meters. The village wall is surrounded by rocks outside the soil, which runs northeast-southwest like a narrow boat with a circumference of 1 100 m and a height of 6.6 m. There are five watchtowers and 800 cribs in the village.
There are three gates in Linfeng village, which are set according to the orientation of gossip. Among the three gates, the northwest gate is the best preserved.
The word "LAM Raymond" is engraved above the village gate, and two large wooden doors are covered with iron sheets. The words "Tongzhi first year" on the iron sheet are still clearly visible. The southwest gate of the stockade has been destroyed, and the gate of the stockade is gone, but the tall tower is still there, like a bunker, with many perforations for shooting.
