The working principle of water film dust collector is that dusty gas is introduced tangentially from the lower part of the cylinder and rises in rotation. The dust particles are separated by centrifugal force, thrown to the inner wall of the cylinder, absorbed by the moving water film layer on the inner wall of the cylinder, and flow to the bottom cone with the water, and then discharged through the dust outlet. The water film layer is formed by several nozzles arranged in the upper part of the cylinder, which spray water tangentially onto the wall. The inner wall of the cylinder is always covered with a thin water film that rotates downward to improve the dust removal effect.
Water film dust collector includes impact water film dust collector, inert water film dust collector and granite water film dust collector.
This wet dust collector has simple structure, low metal consumption and less water consumption. Its disadvantages are high height, difficult layout, and water-carrying phenomenon found in actual operation.
