Comment on A Strong Man Walks Out of Sichuan

I watched 35 episodes of "The Brave Out of Sichuan" in two days over the weekend, and I felt it was a good war movie.

The play tells the story of Sichuan people from 1937 to 1945 War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression. From the Battle of Songhu to the Battle of Laohekou, the protagonists in the play are all tragic scenes in which the whole army was wiped out.

Eight years in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, Sichuan people extrapolated, 3 million Sichuan troops went out to fight against Japan, killing more than 640,000 people. In War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, he fought bloody battles and gave full play to the strength of the Sichuan Army.

There are two scenes in the play that make me feel particularly moved.

The first scene is the appearance of the "death flag", which shows the unity and courage of the Chinese nation and especially boosts morale. A great father gave his son the responsibility of having a country first and then a home.

The content is: "The national disaster is at the head, and the Japanese aggressors are cruel. Every man is responsible for the rise and fall of the country. I want to serve, but I am too old. Fortunately, I have a son. I volunteered. Give a flag and always carry it with you. Wipe blood when you are injured and wrap yourself after death. Go ahead and don't forget your duty. "

The second act is the scene in which Wang, a general of the Sichuan army, fought to defend the isolated city and finally died. Even if you can't be defeated, you are determined to survive with this position. With such fellow villagers and generals, why worry about not winning the war?

I like watching war movies very much, but there are too few good war movies now, and it is rare to watch them all. I hope to make more good war films, so that everyone can not forget history and go forward bravely. Colleagues, patriotism is deeply rooted.
