Guangtou Mountain, also called Wheat Straw Ridge, has an altitude of 2886.9 meters. It is the highest peak along Fengyu Valley and is located on the north-south dividing line. Because it is located in an alpine meadow area with few trees, it is commonly known as Bald Mountain. It is another peak near the watershed. It is a classic route to climb Guangtou Mountain from Jiwozi to see the sea of ??clouds, mountains and strange rocks.
Guangtou Mountain, like Niubeiliang, has the same name as a scenic spot in Tianquan County, Sichuan, and is also as beautiful as Guangtou Mountain in Sichuan. I always go to Bald Mountain once or twice a year. In this way, I have enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Guangtou Mountain in spring, summer, autumn and winter.
Bald Mountain is a place in the Qinling Mountains where you can often see the sea of ??clouds. The terrain is high, and there are often clouds and mist in the deep ditches. After the rain, a sea of ??clouds often forms.
That summer, we set out from Toadgou to climb Bald Mountain. As a result, I got lost in the arrow bamboo forest. I wandered up, down, and around for more than two hours. Finally, I followed the direction of the stone sea, raised my bow hard in the rain, and finally reached the top. At the same time, after the rain, I saw the sea of ??clouds on Bald Mountain. The strange peaks and sea of ??clouds rise like a fairyland.
In late spring and early summer, there are exotic flowers and plants here, showing the exquisite beauty of the Qinling Mountains.
At this time, there are often photographers taking pictures here. There are several internet-famous rocks on the mountain, making it the best place to take photos. And I was lucky enough to see a romantic scene of someone courting on this rock.
You can also see the famous Yingzui Rock here. On the way down the mountain, you encounter Wangsuo Rock. Such a huge boulder reveals the mystery of the Qinling Mountains.
In addition to summer, you can see snow in Bald Mountain in spring, autumn and winter. It rains below the mountains and snow falls on the mountains. This is the norm here. The bare tree trunks hold the snow and resist the severe cold in winter, forming a wonder in the alpine area.
My favorite thing is to watch the sunset at Bald Mountain and watch the sunset fill the sky.
