Inside and outside Nanjing, there are many lost ancient tombs, and there are different opinions about who their respective tomb owners are. Yesterday, Liu Zhe, the founding president of the Chinese Liu Clan Association and the founder of the Chinese surname lecture hall, came to Nanjing and identified a lost tomb in Jiangning as the tombstone of Liu's ancestor. The reporter followed him on an interview.
In the past, the monument was simplified as "the catcher in the rye"
Liu Zhe came from thousands of miles away to find this lost tomb, which is located in Downey Lake West Village, Fangshang Street, Jiangning. Passing by a large construction site, the reporter followed Liu Zhe to find what he called the "Lost Tomb of Mud Pond". In this green vegetable field, it is impossible to judge the original appearance of the old tomb. Only stone men and horses cover it up, as if it were The Catcher in the Rye. I saw two stone statues and two stone horses at the scene, as well as two cultural monuments in Nanjing and Jiangning County (the predecessor of Jiangning District). The size of Wenbao Monument is roughly equivalent to other stone carvings on the ground in Nanjing.
These two stone horses are nearly two meters long and nearly one meter high. Despite the storm, we can still see their agility and vividness. The distance between the two stone men is about 10 meter, and both of them are taller than 1 meter, holding a waterboard in their hands. Due to the age, wind and rain, some parts of the stone horse and stone man were seriously damaged, and half of one of them lost his head.
Liu Shilong was indifferent to fame and wealth and was respected by later generations.
Who is Liu Shilong in Liu Zhe's mouth? Liu Zhe told reporters while opening the genealogy. It is understood that Liu Shilong was born in 442 AD. He is now from Yongji, Shanxi. He was the minister of the State of Song and Qi in the Northern and Southern Dynasties, and also the nephew of the great official Liu. At that time, the Liu family was famous for their bravery, and both Liu He and Liu He were highly valued and rewarded by the imperial court. Liu Zhe told reporters that Liu Shilong had made such comments on himself before his death: first, reading music, second, being light, and third, playing the piano. "It means spear,' look first', which vividly shows that he regards martial arts as the first priority in life."
The Liu family has produced many celebrities since ancient times. Why do Liu's descendants respect him so much? Liu Zhe explained to reporters: "No matter in historical records or our own genealogy, Liu Shilong is a man who is loyal to the Lord and indifferent to fame and fortune. Although he was highly valued, he retired at the right time to make friends. This attitude towards life makes our future generations respect him very much. "
The record was buried in "Downey". Is it "Mud Pond"
Liu Shilong is from Yongji, Shanxi. Why is he buried here? Why did Liu Zhe identify the "Lost Tomb in Mud Pond" in front of him as the tomb of the ancestor Liu Shilong?
According to relevant historical records, Liu Shilong became famous in his early years, retired due to illness in his later years, and lived a leisurely hermit life. Liu Shilong is familiar with digital art. When he built the tomb in Downey, he and his guests decided on the location, and everyone chose to go. He just sat in one place often, so after his death, the tomb site happened to be where he sat. "Our genealogy also clearly records that after Liu Shilong's death, his descendants buried him in Downey, which is now outside Jubaomen, Jiangning, because he often went to Downey with three or five friends before his death, and he liked the scenery here very much. I think the feng shui here is very good, so he chose to let future generations bury himself in this feng shui treasure house after his death."
But the only thing that puzzled Liu Zhe was that the place name where Liu Shilong was buried was "Downey", not "Mudang" here, regardless of historical data or genealogy. "I don't know if it is because Mu Dang is easy to write and remember, so later generations changed it to Mu Dang."
The owner of the tomb has proved it, and Liu's descendants hope to prove it.
This lost tomb has a history of thousands of years, so did the experts draw any conclusions about it before? The reporter learned that in recent years, many cultural relics experts have proved that the tomb owner of the "Mudang lost the tomb" is Wang Chang, a scholar in the Second Jin Dynasty in the seventeenth year of Ming Chenghua and a minister of the Ministry of War. Since there is such a saying, why not put it on the protection list? "Because according to the records in Jiangning Fu Zhi and Tongzhi Shangjiang County Zhi, the tomb of Wang Chang, the minister of the Ming Military Department, is in a earthen mountain, and it is uncertain whether Donnie Huxi Village is a recorded earthen mountain."
