Pingshan Ziyun Mountain Scenic Area is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.
Ziyun Mountain Scenic Area is located in Beiye Township, Pingshan County, with an altitude of 800-1200 meters and an area of ??16 square kilometers. It is a collection of natural ecological scenery, natural caves, original farmhouse stone courtyards, ancient ethnic culture, and red education. The leisure resort integrated into the base is a national 4A scenic spot and an agricultural and rural tourism demonstration site in Hebei Province.
Ziyun Mountain Scenic Area is located in Donggou Village, Nanye, Beiye Township, Pingshan County, 50 kilometers away from Pingshan County, 45 kilometers away from Xibaipo, and 90 kilometers away from the provincial capital Shijiazhuang. It is adjacent to Tiangui Mountain and __shui Scenic Area .
The peaks in the scenic area are protruding, majestic and beautiful, with cliffs like screens and clusters of rocks. The main peak is 1,128 meters above sea level. There are more than 30 stone landscapes such as Tiger Roaring Peak, Crouching Tiger Stone, Xianyu Peak, Jiangjun Peak, Tiansheng Bridge, Yizhi Mountain, and Dialogue between Man and Bird. Both the south and north mountains are empty mountains with more than 20 natural caves. The cave doors are either dropped at the bottom of the valley or hung on the broken wall. Three caves have been developed: Huan Gong Cave, Ziyun Cave, and Mi Hun Cave, with the length of the caves ranging from 60 to 1,000 meters. There are holes inside the cave, and holes inside the cave, turning around and around. The wide part can accommodate a hundred people, and the narrow part can only accommodate one person walking sideways. Various stalactites have strange shapes, are in various poses, are lifelike and lifelike, just like an underground palace, giving people a sense of beauty that is both real and illusory, and between heaven and earth.
The vegetation in the scenic area is quite lush, with peaches, apricots, persimmons and jujubes, pines, cypresses, chrysanthemums, mountain flowers and wild chrysanthemums all over the mountains. The original secondary forest and the bursts of pine waves make people imagine. In late autumn, the red leaves all over the mountains and fields are in full swing, which is a unique sight in Taihang. The air in the area is fresh, like a natural oxygen bar.
The original stone courtyards and stone houses in Donggou Village, built according to the terrain and scattered among the trees, have been renovated to make them simple, elegant, quiet and comfortable, making people feel relaxed and happy. The scenic spot contains the ruins of the Eighth Route Army rear hospital and shoe factory during the Anti-Japanese War, and has become a patriotism education base.
Ziyun Mountain has been a treasure land of Feng Shui since ancient times. As early as the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, Huan, the leader of the Xianyu clan, later King Huan Gong of Zhongshan Kingdom, led the Xianyu people to choose this land and worked hard for more than 20 years. In 381 BC, he left Taihang eastward and completed the great cause of restoring the country in one fell swoop. During the Anti-Japanese War, the Eighth Route Army rear hospital and shoe factory were built here, making outstanding contributions to the liberation of the Chinese nation.
The Ziyun Mountain Scenic Area is open from April to November every year, with different characteristics in different seasons. April is the best time for hiking and mountaineering, and the Mountaineering Festival is held every year. In May, when the toon trees mature, you can go outing, sightseeing, and picking toon trees. June 10th to August 10th is the mulberry picking festival. Vegetable picking festival from July to October. October 15th to November 10th is the Red Leaf Festival, which is the most beautiful season of the year in Ziyun Mountain.
Bus route: Take the Pingshan County shuttle bus from Shijiazhuang North Passenger Transport Station, transfer to the minibus bound for Beizhi at Pingshan, and take a taxi or chartered bus to Beizhi.

The township has an altitude of 320-1,400 meters and is composed of mountains, hills, terraces, and tidal flats. The forest coverage rate is more than 70%. Most of the cultivated land is concentrated on terraces and tidal flats. Dangerous overflow rivers run through the entire territory. Ancient (monthly) dams (Touqi) Road and 207 National Highway pass through the countryside, and the Qingfengdong (Zhuangtou) road out of the province has built a convenient passage for Hebei and Shanxi provinces.
