Guo Dong is located in the south of Wuyi County, Zhejiang Province, China, about 5 kilometers away from Wuyi County. Is it a Chinese folk culture village, a provincial-level scenic spot or a provincial-level historical and cultural protection zone? People call this village "Paleoecology Village". I paid a visit the other day. There are many scenic spots there, such as Huilong Bridge, ancient water base, He Zongci, ancient houses and Longshan ancient forest. , each with its own characteristics, is also very nice. However, after visiting Guo Dong, what impressed me the most were all kinds of trees.
As soon as I came to Guo Dong, the first thing I caught my eye was the towering old trees that were regarded as treasures by experts and scholars. They are lush, dark and mysterious on the Longshan Mountain in Guo Dong. At the head of the village, at the end of the village and around the house, it is also everywhere. They are extraordinary in spirit. For thousands of years, they have guarded this ancient small village like guards. You see, standing at the entrance of the village, Pistacia chinensis is over 600 years old. For hundreds of years, it has been smiling at people coming and going. Under the scorching sun, it stretched out its huge arms and propped up a green shade for people. In the wind and rain, it stands tall with a tall body. For hundreds of years, this brave and fearless image has inspired many children in Guo Dong.
On the edge of the village, there are many natural towering old trees 600 to 700 years old on Longshan Mountain, which is 390 meters above sea level and has a forest area of 100 hectares. For example, Buxus macrophylla, Phoebe bournei, Cinnamomum camphora, Mangroves, Cyclobalanopsis glauca, Podocarpus, Du Ying and so on. * * * There are more than 360 species, some of which are national first-class rare tree species, which are rare virgin forests in central Zhejiang. There, we can see the bitter storage trees covered with a thick layer of moss, which are flourishing and full of vitality; You can also see the Millennium Liquidambar formosana trees, which are colorful and fragrant, making people feel a kind of vitality from ancient times to the present. What is particularly amazing is that the Millennium Taxus chinensis, known as the "living fossil", is a prehistoric plant and a very rare tree species. In Guo Dong, it not only survived, but also withstood thousands of years of wind and rain, which is really a miracle. In addition, the "husband and wife" tree on the west side of Wenchang Pavilion is also very interesting! There are two kinds of ancient trees, one is Taxus chinensis and the other is Liquidambar formosana. These two adventure trees grew up together, their bodies and branches grew in disguise, and they have spent more than 18 thousand days together, becoming a "centenarian couple" who live in harmony. These two trees happened to grow side by side in He Zongci's backyard, which made Guo Dongren look up and admire. Perhaps this is also a symbol of the happiness of Guo Dong people from generation to generation!
Unfortunately, in the scenic spot, we found some such trees, whose branches were put aside, because, after years of erosion, they have gradually died! There is a maple tree, its leaves are sparse, because its abdomen is empty, how pitiful! After a while, it may break down. To this end, we asked an old man in Guodong Village about the situation. He said:
People here like trees very much since ancient times. Now they have many precious and famous trees, among which 5-6 trees are 1000 years old. The villagers will do their best to protect these trees and make Guo Dong more beautiful and full of vitality. It is said that there is a clan rule circulating in the village: whoever cuts down a tree will break his arm; If you break a branch, you break a finger. Although this clan rule is a bit harsh, the trees in Guo Dong have been propagated from generation to generation, and Guo Dong people regard caring for trees as a virtue handed down from generation to generation.
Guo Dong loves trees, perhaps because of these towering ancient trees, Guo Dong has become a treasure trove of geomantic omen and is invincible throughout the ages. According to historical records, in such a small village, there were i 14 Jinshi, 32 tribute students, and a juren. Among them, He Zhizhong, the prime minister of Rongchao in Tingzhou, Fujian, and He Guigong, the magistrate of Changsha, Hunan, all went out from this village. There are not only talented people here, but also the well-known Changshou Village. At present, among the population of XX in Guodong Village, there are more than 40 people over 70 years old, with an average life expectancy of 85 years, which is 63 years higher than the average life expectancy of 1995 published by international organizations and 22 years higher!
The scenery in Guo Dong is very beautiful, and the trees in Guo Dong are more worthy of nostalgia. Always arouses people's endless imagination. If you have a chance to go to Guo Dong and enjoy the scenery of ancient villages, don't forget to feel it carefully-maybe you will find many new discoveries by planting trees there!
