Letv used to be a very recognized video platform, but later, due to the debt crisis of its founder Jia Yueting, Letv fell into a state of collapse. At the same time, other major video platforms have also seized the opportunity of LeTV's deep debt crisis and made frequent efforts, while other major video platforms have also surpassed LeTV's video platform. At present, the domestic video platform business has been monopolized by Tencent, Youku and iQiyi, and it is obviously difficult for LeTV to return to its former position.
First, LeTV lacks the support of film and television video copyright and variety shows. If LeTV wants to regain its former position, it must make efforts in film and television copyright and variety copyright. Because the film and television copyright and variety copyright in hand can make LeTV have huge traffic import ability, once it gets very strong traffic, then LeTV can get enough funds by attracting advertisers, but at present LeTV does not have enough funds to win film and television copyright and variety copyright.
Second, the market share of Tencent, Youku and iQiyi is very stable. Tencent, Youku and Iqiyi have their own unique advantages in the field of video platforms. Although each of the three platforms has its own shortcomings, it can't compete with the three major video platforms with the current capabilities and standards of LeTV. If we rashly do the right thing with the three major video platforms now, LeTV may quickly disappear in the field of video platforms.
Third, there is no solution to LeTV's debt problem. Letv is a hot potato for any investor. Although letv has had glorious moments, it does not have enough investment value for any investor at present. Because once you become a shareholder of LeTV, it means you have to bear huge debts. Obviously, it is impossible for all investors to choose to lose money first when they are not making money.
Letv's business model is obviously a development model of a very backward era. In addition, LeTV is burdened with huge debts. Such a dilemma, even the most brilliant investors and entrepreneurs, can't bring LeTV back to life. Therefore, the future outcome of LeTV is destined to end in bankruptcy.
