The Mausoleum of the First Emperor of Qin is located five kilometers east of present-day Lintong County, Shaanxi Province, about 35 kilometers away from Xi'an City, with Lishan Mountain in the south and Weihe River in the north. It is the largest imperial mausoleum in ancient China. According to "Historical Records": "Qin Shi Huang ascended the throne of Qin when he was thirteen years old (246 BC). Shortly after he ascended the throne, he began to build a mausoleum in Lishan Mountain. After unifying the world, more than 700,000 people were recruited from all over the country to participate in the construction. It was not completed until the death of the first emperor of Qin (in 210 BC) at the age of fifty. The construction continued for another two years during the reign of Qin II, which took nearly forty years. It is really a huge project. ”
