Tianjin is located in North China, northeast of North China Plain, downstream of Haihe River Basin, bordering Bohai Sea in the east, Yanshan Mountain in the north, Beijing in the west and Hebei in the rest. Its geographical coordinates are 38 34'-4015' north latitude and116 43'-165438 east longitude. Tianjin is the main node of the China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor, the strategic fulcrum of the Maritime Silk Road and the intersection of the Belt and Road.
The starting point of the nearest eastern end of the Eurasian Continental Bridge is located at the intersection and estuary of five tributaries of Haihe River, namely, the South Canal, Ziya River, Daqing River, Yongding River and North Canal, and is known as "the lower tip of Jiujiang" and "the rushing river and sea". Tianjin has a warm temperate semi-humid monsoon climate with four distinct seasons.
