Fengshui of Jiulong Mountain in Leizhou

In 20201October 30th 10, I went to Beiboshan Village by bike to visit the Temple Group of Jiulong Mountain. Beiboshan Village, which was founded in the Hongwu period of Ming Dynasty, is a big village with nearly 3,000 people. It used to be the resident of Beiboshan Town Government. According to the villagers, this village has the same fate as the mountain village: young people are outside and the permanent population in the village is very small. Beiboshan Village faces Zishui in the south and Jiulong Mountain in the back, with winding mountains and criss-crossing buildings. It's a treasure trove of feng shui.

I crossed a north-south street in the village and came to the foot of Jiulong Mountain. Walking along the Berlin mountain road for a while, I saw the scarlet temple. Walking into the masonry archway, there is a white tile screen wall with the pattern of "Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea", and there are steps on the left and right sides of the screen wall, which lead to the east and west courtyards respectively.

The west courtyard is the main courtyard, and the main hall faces south, which is the Lvzu Hall. West Temple is the Temple of Wealth. Both temples were built in 1931. Under the left gable of Lv Zudian, there is a cliff-attached release pond, which was dug in the eighth year of the Republic of China. There is a stone tablet embedded in the cliff above the release pool, engraved with the words "protect the future", and engraved with the words "Zhenwu Pool" below the stone tablet, which reads "31 years of the Republic of China".

There is a tiger pine tree in front of the God of Wealth Temple. Speaking of tiger bark pine, there is another tree in Zhujiazhuang Huang San Temple, which was planted more than 600 years ago during the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty. Tiger bark pine is very rare and precious in China, and it can also be used as medicine.

There is a Li Xian Hall in the west and a pharmacist hall in the east. There is also a release pond in the yard, called Xingwen Pool, which was also dug in the Republic of China. There is a "Zhenwu Pool" in the west and a "Xingwen Pool" in the east, echoing each other from afar. The cliff behind Xingwen Pool is engraved with three characters of "Jiulong Mountain", which is quite handsome and natural.

Go through the temple, continue to climb up, and Bi Xia Temple. There are three temples in Bixia, all of which are of masonry structure and antique. There is also a guanyin temple on the right, which should be newly built.

Climbing the mountain, a stone wall appeared in front of me, winding among the mountains, which was very spectacular. At first, I thought it was the Great Wall of Qi, but I learned from the information on the Internet that it was 1942, which was built by the Japanese army in Boshan to prevent the Eighth Route Army from attacking, forcing the people to seize the strong men. On the flat ground, dig a ditch to stop it.

Standing on the broken stone wall, watching black dragon stretch in the mountains, I imagined the scene of people building stone walls under the oppression of Japanese soldiers ... What a cruel and humiliating scene!

I climbed to the highest mountain along the path under the stone wall. The season has entered late autumn, and the red leaves all over the mountain have become withered and crimson. Obviously, I missed the most beautiful Jiulong Mountain, but I'm not disappointed-only by shedding my gorgeous coat can I show its grandeur and vastness.
