My parents and I came to Jinyun Mountain in Chongqing.
Jinyun Mountain is located next to the Jialing River in Beibei District, Chongqing City. It was named Bashan in ancient times. My mother said it was mentioned in Li Shangyin's poem, "You have not yet heard of your return date, and the night rain in Bashan swells the autumn pond. Why should I cut the candles on the west window, but say it rains in Bashan at night." The scenery there is really intoxicating.
It was raining lightly and misty on the day we went. We first climbed up the stairs along the wet path. What you see along the way are fallen flowers, green moss, green trees, and slowly flowing streams. The air is moist and fresh, with an earthy smell mixed with the faint aroma of fallen flowers.
What I like most is the Baiyun Bamboo Sea, which is a major scenic spot in Jinyun Mountain. The bamboos grow in clusters, neatly arranged, straight and straight, like soldiers in formation. The bamboo leaves are fresh and green, and the breeze blows, making a rustling sound, accompanied by the sound of flowing water in the creek, like an autumn concert. If you stand on the mountainside and look at the bamboo sea, the clouds and mist are shrouded, and walking in it is like entering a fairyland. My mother and I couldn't help but recite the poem: "After the new rain in the empty mountain, the weather comes late in autumn. The bright moon The pines are shining, and the clear spring rocks are flowing upstream."
After walking through the "white clouds and bamboo sea", we climbed over another hill. After more than an hour of climbing, we finally reached the top of the mountain - Lion Peak. The peak is named after a stone lion. Leaning on the railing and looking into the distance, I saw the "short" buildings at the foot of the mountain and the road like a small snake. Facing the empty blue sky, I felt extremely comfortable.
My father and mother made a promise: we will visit this beautiful Jinyun Mountain in a few years.
