Zhuge Liang is as wise as a demon. He knows astronomy from above, geography from below, is proficient in Qimen Dunjia, and has magical calculations. He is simply a god-like existence in history. There are countless legends about him, and he is One is more mysterious than the other. Today, we are going to talk about a prophecy about Zhuge Liang. I never expected that this prophecy would accurately predict the fate of Zhang Xianzhong a thousand years later. So, is this really just a coincidence, or is there some secret to it? Today, let’s explore together from the clues of history.
The protagonist of today’s story is Zhang Xianzhong in the late Ming Dynasty. At the end of the Ming Dynasty, the world was in chaos. In order to survive, the unemployed young man Zhang Xianzhong rose up and led the peasant uprising army to defeat the Ming army. Along the way, he conquered Fengyang, burned imperial mausoleums, and He defeated Kai County and fell into Xiangyang, winning successive battles. In the 16th year of Chongzhen, he conquered Wuchang and called himself King of the West. He led troops to invade Sichuan and established the Daxi regime in Chengdu.
According to Shu Bilu records, ten miles along the river outside the east gate of Chengdu, there is the Suojiang Bridge and the Huilan Pagoda beside the bridge. It was built by Yu Yilong, the chief envoy of Wanli Zhong. Zhang Xianzhong attacked Chengdu and demolished the Huilan Pagoda. There was an ancient stele in the tower with the inscription: "Yilong remained after repairing the pagoda. Zhang Xianzhong demolished the pagoda." When every year comes, A, B, and C are everywhere, blood flows red here. The evil spirits end up in northern Sichuan, and poisonous gas spreads in eastern Sichuan. No bamboo is needed to play the flute, an arrow pierces the chest. ?It is said that the ancient inscriptions in this tower are prophecies specially left by Zhuge Liang thousands of years ago.
At that time, Zhang Xianzhong was very angry when he saw the inscription left by Zhuge Liang and ordered people to destroy the ancient stele. However, he was still frightened and worried that the prophecy would come true. He strengthened security work, but he still died three years later. In the Battle of Fenghuang Slope, the cause of death was exactly as Zhuge Liang had expected thousands of years ago. He was shot dead by Hauge, Prince of Heshuosu in Xichong in the Qing Dynasty. He knew that bamboo was not used to play the flute, and the word "Gai" was also used. So, is this really just a coincidence?
It is said that this prophecy comes from Zhuge Liang’s prophetic book "Ma Qian Ke". Why is it called "Ma Qian Ke"? That's because Zhuge Liang used to divine a lesson in front of his horse before sending out troops to fight, which is the so-called divination. Zhuge Liang synthesized these divination hexagrams into "Ma Qian Lesson". There are 14 lessons in the whole book.
Zhuge Liang's "Ma Qian Ke" and the later "Tui Bei Tu" written by Yuan Tiangang and Li Chunfeng in the Tang Dynasty are ancient divine prophecy books. According to later generations' research, it is found that in "Ma Qian Ke" There are many contents that are highly consistent with subsequent history. For example, in the fourth lesson of "Ma Qian Lesson" there is: "Eighteen boys, started in Taiyuan; movement will lead to understanding, the sun and moon will be beautiful in the sky." ?The explanation for this hexagram is: Li Tang arose in Taiyuan, and Wu Zetian became emperor of Zhou.
In fact, the so-called content of the stele in which Zhuge Liang predicted the fate of Zhang Xianzhong does not conform to the terminology habits of the Eastern Han Dynasty and the Three Kingdoms period at all, but has the characteristics of limericks of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Therefore, we can guess that the content on this stele is likely to be the Sichuan people who hated Zhang Xianzhong or the content was forged by the Qing Dynasty rulers afterwards, in order to make the people believe that Zhang Xianzhong was a heinous person who would be punished by God. In fact, although many of the contents in "Tuibei Tu" may be regarded by later generations as divine predictions, in fact they are most likely added by later generations, which is the so-called hindsight. In other words, they are just pretending to be destiny and making them look like gods!
Therefore, this inscription about Zhuge Liang’s accurate prediction of Zhang Xianzhong’s fate a thousand years later is not credible. It was probably arranged by someone with ulterior motives. The ancients were very good at doing things like this, and they have tried and failed! In fact, although the real Zhang Xianzhong in history was not a good man or woman, he finally faced the foreign enemy and refused to surrender, killing his wife, children, and children. He even left a last word asking his subordinates to cooperate with Nanming after his death. This is A real man never loses his integrity in the face of great matters of right and wrong. As for his massacre in Sichuan, it was probably deliberately discredited by the Qing court. Guys, what do you think?
