2. Sweep the grave, clean the cemetery, wipe the tombstone clean, remove weeds and fallen leaves from the grave, and bury it with new soil;
3, incense, point three incense, bow down;
4. Offerings, that is, offering all kinds of offerings, such as sugar, fruit, cigarettes, wine, etc. In front of the tombstone, according to the hobbies and habits of the ancestors;
5, burning paper, burning ingot paper money, etc.
6. Press the paper, and the remaining paper money is pressed on the stone in front of the grave, so that others can see it and know that there are descendants in this grave.
Third, the memorial matters needing attention:
1, we advocate flowers to send grief, don't light incense sticks, don't burn paper money, if you have to light candles to burn paper, you must pay attention to fire safety and ecological protection;
2. The date of sweeping graves in Tomb-Sweeping Day is generally ten days after the tenth day of Tomb-Sweeping Day, and there are also local customs that it is three days after the third day;
It is best to sweep the grave at 5-7 in the morning, that is, at midnight. Of course, it's usually not so early now. We have mastered that we only need to complete the grave-sweeping ceremony before 3 pm;
4. When sweeping the grave, use a sickle to remove weeds, and be careful not to use hoes. When lighting the ingot paper money, it is best to use matches instead of lighters;
5, because the cemetery is the destination of ghosts, so don't cross graves and sacrifices, don't talk loudly, laugh and curse, swear words, run around and touch, urinate everywhere, etc.
6. Be cautious before the grave, do not criticize the ancestors, and do not comment on other graves;
7. It is best to fast before sweeping the grave. You'd better not eat food when you leave to sweep the grave. Be a vegetarian if you really need it.
8. Dress neatly when sweeping graves to show courtesy and respect for ancestors. Don't wear bright clothes, try not to wear bright ornaments and don't cover your forehead with your hair.
9. When sweeping the grave, it is forbidden to take photos in the cemetery, whether it is a photo of the grave sweeper or a photo of the grave sweeper and the grave tombstone, let alone taking photos in other cemeteries;
10. Generally speaking, the elderly over 70 years old, pregnant women or sick people have weak yang, so Tomb-Sweeping Day is not suitable for grave-sweeping activities. In addition, women and children who come on public holidays should also avoid grave-sweeping activities in Tomb-Sweeping Day, especially after 3 pm. If these people are really unavoidable, they can wear some jade ornaments.

12. Generally, around the cemetery, the traffic will not be smooth for several days before and after Tomb-Sweeping Day. I suggest you plan your time and route in advance.
