There are actually 50 temples on a mountain. What's going on here?

There are actually 50 temples on a mountain, because this mountain is Putuo Mountain, which is known as Haitian Buddha Country. This mountain is located on an island near Hangzhou. There are many temples on the island, so it has the reputation of "Haitian Buddha Country". There are nine scenic spots here, each with its own characteristics, but mainly Buddhist temples and Taoist temples. Although there are fifty temples on the mountain, there are three of the most famous.

First, Fusaiji, located at the foot of the mountain, is the largest temple on the island. Most people come to worship Buddha together. It is said that marriage proposal by unmarried men and women is very effective here. All the more important Buddhist activities on the mountain are held here. The second temple is Fayu Temple, which is built halfway up the mountain and is the highest and most exquisite temple on the mountain. Although it is not as big as the temple mentioned above, it is only a little smaller.

The most distinctive feature of this temple is that some glazed tiles on the roof were moved from Nanjing Ming Palace Museum. It is also a major feature of temples on the mountain and a precious cultural relic. There are many precious ancient trees beside the temple. The opening hours of this temple are the same as those of the temples above, and you can visit it in about an hour.

The third temple is called Huiji Temple. Located at the top of the mountain, this temple has the most distinctive garden features. It is also the highest temple in the whole mountain. The whole temple is surrounded by green trees and hidden in lush green scenery. Like the temple above, it is covered with colored glazed tiles, such as blue, green, yellow and purple. When the weather is fine, the reflection of sunlight from above is very beautiful, just like the Buddha's light during a pilgrimage.
