Wu Tong is located in the east of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, spanning Luohu and Yantian, including some sites of Donghu Park, Huxian Botanical Garden and Shatoujiao Forest Farm. Wutongshan gradually rises from southwest to northeast. Wu Tong is the remnant vein of Lianhua Mountain, and its scenery is an urban and rural natural scenic spot with mountains and natural vegetation as its main landscape. On its main ridge line, there are three main peaks (elevation 692m, 706m and 944m respectively). The highest peak is 944 meters above sea level, which is the highest peak in Shenzhen. The vegetation in the mountain is good, and it belongs to a typical south subtropical evergreen broad-leaved mixed forest.
Wu Tong is one of the "Eight Scenes of Xin 'an" in history, with rich cultural landscape. Qiao Shunyong, a poet in the Qing Dynasty, said, "Wu Tongshan is high in the sky, with frost and snow in winter and clouds after the rain ... I want to cut Wu Tong and make a piano for Mu Qing. Nanyan Song is peaceful and wants to attract the phoenix ... "Wu Tongfeng is adjacent to Gangwu Mountain in the south (958 meters above sea level), Shenzhen City in the west and Dapeng Bay and Dapeng Peninsula in the southeast.
