Shuangyashan City has eight county-level administrative regions, including four municipal districts and four counties, namely Jianshan District, Lingdong District, Sifangtai District, Baoshan District, Jixian County, Baoqing County, Youyi County and Raohe County.
Shuangyashan City is the easternmost prefecture-level city in China, and it is an important production base of coal, electric power, coal chemical industry, steel and grain in Heilongjiang Province.
