However, there are many outdoor routes outside Beijing suburbs, and outdoor hiking routes that integrate history, humanity and nature can be used for people to play on weekends or short holidays, such as the upcoming New Year's Day holiday!
I. Jingxi Ancient Road
The hiking route around Beijing-Jingxi Ancient Road has won the favor of outdoor lovers. This route is not difficult, suitable for weekend leisure hiking, with beautiful scenery and strong ancient rhyme footprint.
Jingxi ancient road refers to the ancient traffic road in the western mountainous area of Beijing, collectively known as Xishan. It has a long human history, special geographical location and rich resources.
Throughout history, millions of people in Beijing lived on the Carboniferous.
It takes Xishan Avenue as the main line, connecting multiple branch lines to form a road system.
The spectacular Jingxi ancient road meets at Wangpingkou, which is called the "Mountain Crossing General Road". Wang Ping Ancient Road is the most beautiful and abundant part of Jingxi Ancient Road.

One-day tour route: Wang Ping-Fengkou Temple-Circle Gate. The total length of the line is about 14.2km, and the altitude is 8 13m. The starting point of the line is Wang Ping Village, which makes you full of praise!
Transportation: Take bus No.929, get off at Wangpingcun Station, cross the road, and there is a crossroads south of Lunan. Go ahead about 100 meters and cross bridge opening!
Outdoor Tip: The road leading to the cliff is steep, so you can choose the original road to return, about 50 meters, and you can go up the mountain to bypass the cliff.
Walking to the top of the mountain is actually a saddle on the ridge. This is Fengkou Temple.
Pay attention to two points during downhill:
First, when we get to the fire escape, there is an obvious path at the left corner of the fire escape, which goes straight down the hill. Choose this road to go on.
Second: after crossing the stairs, you can choose to go forward according to the road conditions of the day.

During the Tongzhi period, huge sums of money were spent to pave the way, which became the golden stage of "one silver and one stone". Now, various historical sites can still be found.
Introduction: Start from Bei 'an River in Haidian District, pass Bei 'an River Village, go west 15 minutes to the railway near Jiu Feng Garden Gate, and then go up to Jin Xian Temple in Xishan, with an altitude of about 380 meters, next to Jinshan Spring.
Transportation: No.346 Road, Summer Palace, get off at the North Anhe exit; Or take a tourist train from the apple orchard to the gate of the scenic spot on Saturday and Sunday.
You need to charter a car from Goujian Village to the urban area or the beach station, and you can charter a car in the village. There are tour buses from the apple orchard to Miao Feng.
Trees wither in autumn, and you have a good view. Be careful not to cover it too tightly when climbing, and keep your clothes open for heat dissipation to avoid sweating and catching a cold. This is worth reminding the majority of hikers.
From Yang Tai to Miao Feng, the difficulty lies in Yang Tai. As long as you pass Yang Taishan, you basically don't have to climb too hard.
In addition, the stone steps from Miao Feng to Goujian Village are not easy to walk.
You can taste the local farmhouse music. You can replenish food and water along the way, and you don't need to bring too much. It takes about 6 hours to walk.
Third, the arrow buckle-Mutianyu: Looking at the Great Wall after the smoke.

Characteristics of the route: Starting from a famous ancient folk village on Beijing West Road, passing Huangcaoliang, the largest alpine meadow in Beijing, passing the Great Wall on the seventh floor, and finally reaching Dongling Mountain, the highest peak in Beijing.
Line introduction: Before the railway was opened to traffic, the traffic between Beijing and Zhangjiakou and other northwest areas mainly took the Jingxi Ancient Road and Guangou. Nowadays, although the ancient road has declined, the military passes and ancient villages in Ming and Qing dynasties left along the way still tell touching stories.
The most important route in Gujing West Road is from Huailai, Hebei Province, through Liujiayu Valley to Yanhe City. After Tianjin Pass, enter Baiyu Valley, enter Zhaitang and arrive in Jingxi.
This crossing line starts from the ancient Pearl White Road.
