Introduction of Xi 'an Bailuyuan Scenic Area

Bailu was originally the Loess Plateau in Xi City, Shaanxi Province. The specific attractions are as follows:

Bailuyuan is located in Xi City, Shaanxi Province, between Chanhe River and Chanhe River in Chang 'an District (formerly Chang 'an County), Baqiao District and Lantian County. It is the southeast barrier of the ancient city of Chang 'an, starting from Lushan Mountain in the east, Xi and Chang 'an in the west, Zhongnan Mountain in Qinling Mountain in the south and Bahe River in the north. According to legend, on the way to Luoyang, Zhou Pingwang once saw a white deer cruising in the original site, hence the name. Baling, the emperor of China, is located in Yuan Shang, so it is also called Baling Yuan. Because of living in Bashui (Bahe River), it was called Bashang in ancient times.

Bailuyuan is a terrace or terrace loess plateau formed on the basis of river impact terrace in the Middle Pleistocene, covered by aeolian loess and after modern geological vertical fault movement and river cutting. In a broad sense, it still belongs to the Weihe plain. This is a characteristic landform in the eastern suburb of Xi. In order to distinguish it from river impact terrace, it is commonly known as "Loess Plateau". The east starting point of Bailuyuan is connected with Lushan Mountain, with Qinling Mountains in the south, Chanhe River in the west and Chanhe River in the north.

Characteristic products of Bailuyuan

Bailuyuan is rich in ancient cultural relics. After the founding of New China, many cultural relics surveys and archaeological excavations show that it is an important place for the Chinese nation to thrive from generation to generation. Wang Gong Village, Jiujianfang Township, Lantian County, under Bailuyuan, has a national key cultural relics protection unit and a Lantian ape-man site dating from 750,000 to1150,000 years ago. Banpo site under the west side of Bailuyuan is a matriarchal clan settlement site in Yangshao culture period from 5600 to 6700 years ago, and it is also the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units announced by the State Council in 1963.

Bailuyuan (now Liucun, Baling Township, Baqiao District) has a high cliff in the northwest and a deep ditch in the south. Only the east can pass through the original. Liu Bang, the emperor gaozu of the Han Dynasty, went to Xianyang to destroy the Qin Dynasty, and Li camped here, which was called Liu Bangying and later passed on to Liu Jiaying.
