Port-dredging highway refers to the main road leading to the port or wharf, which is quite special. Because ports and docks are usually over-tonnage trucks, the pavement and subgrade usually need to be particularly strong and compressive.
To build this kind of highway, it is usually necessary to dig deep into the subgrade, then fill it with stones and sand, and then pour concrete. Reinforced concrete is used in key sections. Under normal circumstances, the port-dredging roads are all poured with cement concrete, because the concrete is more durable after drying, which is difficult for asphalt roads to do.
