Why are fewer and fewer people choosing Chinese decoration style?

The decoration style depends on your own preferences and financial situation. At present, the decoration styles are relatively diverse. In addition to Chinese style, there are also simple modern, European, pastoral, American country and other styles. Nowadays, people’s choices are diversified, which leads to fewer people choosing Chinese style.

In addition, most Chinese-style decoration is mainly made of solid wood, and the furniture has strong lines and lacks softness. For example, if the sofa is made of solid wood, it will always feel like it cannot be "paralyzed" when you sit on it. Compared with leather and fabric, the comfort is not enough, and the softness is also poor. And solid wood is also expensive. Even many home decorations need to use oak or mahogany to show the quality of the decoration. The economic requirements are relatively high. Moreover, mahogany is not easy to repair after it wears out over time, because it is expensive to buy and it is difficult to throw away and replace it casually.

Chinese style decoration has dull colors and is not bright and warm enough. At this time, many young people are unwilling to decorate in this style. This may be the main reason. When my friends ask me for advice on decoration, most of them exclude Chinese styles first. Most of them are because the color is too dark, lacks vitality, and has a rigid and dogmatic feel, which is not suitable for the lively and passionate mentality of young people. For example, take a group of friends home and have a party. Facing the traditional Chinese-style decoration of my home, which is made of pure solid wood, I always feel that it is a little out of place.

Chinese-style decoration style details reflect classical beauty. For example, it is mostly used for screens, carvings, etc. Even the windows must be made into squares with lattice, and the pattern can be unified. There is a lot of emphasis on furniture display, which requires some antiques, calligraphy and paintings, and jades. The decoration and placement of bonsai require a lot of attention. Nowadays, young people are more casual and will have a headache with a lot of attention. I am also afraid that if something is placed incorrectly, it will cause comments from visitors.
