Brief introduction of Quzi Temple

Quzi Temple, also known as Quyuan Temple, is now changed to qu yuan memorial hall in zigui county, Zigui County, located at the top of Yuxi Mountain in the northwest of Miluo City, Hunan Province. Built in the Han Dynasty, the original site has no test. Qing Qianlong twenty-one years (1756), moved to people. Covers an area of 7.8 mu. From the foot of the mountain to the temple, there are 1 19 stone steps. This temple is a blue brick building with three entrances. There are 13 reliefs on the wall of the archway at the main entrance of the temple, depicting Qu Yuan's life achievements and pursuit of ideals. On the wall of the corridor, there are many stone tablets engraved with Qu Yuan's poems and songs. A statue of Qu Yuan, built in 1980, stands in the back hall with a touching look. There are monuments commemorating Qu Yuan nearby, such as Du Xingting, Sao Tan, Zhuoying Bridge, Taohua Cave, Shouxingtai, Scissors Pool, Embroidered Pier and Wangye Pier, commonly known as the "Eight Scenes" of Yucang Mountain. Existing buildings include Daxiong Hall, Fangxin Pavilion and Quzi Temple Monument. The main hall is made of brick and wood structure, with single story and eaves, blue brick wall and yellow glazed tile roof. There is beauty in the quaint style. There are three entrances in the whole hall, a pavilion is placed between the middle entrance and the back entrance, and a patio is set at the front, back, left and right. In the pool, there is a big flower stand and osmanthus plants. There are many osmanthus trees over 300 years old in the temple. Every Mid-Autumn Festival, yellow and white flowers are in full bloom, and the fragrance is overflowing, which is intoxicating.
