There are also many small "secret tourist bases" in Wuhan, such as Longquan Mountain, which is called blessed land and fairy land. The natural scenery here is excellent, and the historical background is even more amazing. It was written by a literati with a unique style.
Longquan Mountain in Wuhan is located in Jiangxia District, Wuhan. It was called Jiangxia Mountain and Lingquan Mountain in ancient times. It is the "neighbor" of the famous Liangzi Lake. When you enter the scenic spot, the first thing you see is a long street that imitates the Ming Dynasty. It is antique, which makes people seem to have come to the once prosperous Chu land at once. At present, historical rumors appear constantly, and there are endless vicissitudes from time to time.
Walking through the ancient street, you can see the gatehouse composed of three circular arches, which seems to be carved out of white marble and looks very spectacular. From the gatehouse to the mausoleum hall, there is another spacious Shinto hundreds of meters long, with tall and straight pines and cypresses on both sides, which looks solemn. It is worth mentioning that Longquan Mountain Scenic Area has a valley wind and light belt of seven or eight square kilometers, which is very strange and has some vivid allusions. Its recorded history can even be traced back to the Western Han Dynasty.
According to legend, Fan Kuai, the founding hero of the Western Han Dynasty, made a fief here, hence the name Jiangxia Mountain. Later, in the Tang Dynasty, because the prime minister at that time built a house here, he accidentally chiseled a clear spring, and because of the good feng shui, it was later renamed Lingquan Mountain.
During the Ming Dynasty, Zhu Zhen, the king of Chu, went to Lingquan Mountain for the summer every year. When he saw the beautiful scenery surrounded by mountains and waters, he felt very wonderful. He ordered the fortune teller to demarcate it, and came to the conclusion that "Five Dragons hold the sacred land of immortals in Jidi", so he divided the area around the mountain into tomb areas. Since then, Lingquan Mountain has been renamed "Longquan Mountain".
Since the Ming Dynasty, it has been planned as the graveyard of Chu kings in past dynasties, and gradually formed the "Tomb of Nine Kings of Ming Dynasty" that amazed the world. Among them, the Chu Tomb in the early Ming Dynasty was included in the fifth batch of national key cultural relics protection units, which is located at the head of Zhu Zhen Cemetery. Next to the tomb, poems written by ancient literati can be seen everywhere, "The mountains are quiet and the clouds are full of stones, and the water is clear and the moon is full of Sichuan."
Since then, this geomantic treasure-house has also been favored by many benevolent hermits. In the long history, many people with ideas and strength have built more scenic spots here, such as Lingquan Temple, Overlooking Pavilion, Daguan Bridge, Baihui Garden and Wanjuan Bookstore. Pavilions and pavilions make the Millennium blessed land more amorous.
Appreciate a century-old tree
The scenery of Zhaoyuan Garden is absolutely beautiful, and the strangest harvest is the discovery of a towering tree in the southwest corner. It is towering into the sky, with lush foliage and simple and vigorous trunk, and it takes four people to camp out.
It is said that locals call it "mother-in-law" tree. It is said that when Zhu Zhen built a mausoleum here, he thought the tree blocked Long Mai and wanted to cut it down. Unexpectedly, several mother-in-law in the village used their lives to protect this ancient tree, holding hands, so the reputation of the "mother-in-law" tree was handed down. According to expert research, the age of this ancient tree is about 670 years old.
I saw roots everywhere, gathered from all directions, like nine living dragons, entrenched here, as if guarding incomprehensible gods. There is a monument beside the tree, which says "Kowloon will attend the meeting". It is really vivid. Everyone who comes here is amazed and lingering.
Pin Liang zi Hu Bai Diao
Although there are ancient tombs with a long history and excellent scenery, not many people know them, and not many people come and go in Longquan Mountain. Fortunately, since the 1980s, with the strong support of all parties, Wuhan began to protect the historical sites and natural landscape of Longquan Mountain. On this basis, it has developed to a certain extent, making Longquan Mountain better preserved. Many new projects have been built and functional areas have been set up, including cultural relics area, water entertainment area, summer resort and living service area.
When you come here, you can not only feel the nature, but also satisfy the picky taste buds. Many farmhouses have been developed near Longquan Mountain, which can provide authentic farm dishes. You should know that the nearby Liangzi Lake has always been famous for its high-quality aquatic products, such as Wuchang fish, hairy crabs and, of course, fresh white Diao. This small Diao fish can be used to make steamed fish after drying, which is definitely the best in the world.
Longquan Mountain is surrounded by lakes on three sides, which makes the mountain appear very mythical on the sparkling water. The ancients had a set of views on geomantic omen. Surrounded by mountains and water, nymphs are quiet. At first glance, it is a treasure trove of feng shui. Therefore, it is not surprising that Longquan Mountain is known as a "blessed land and fairy land" in the historical evolution of thousands of years. It is said that the wise enjoy water and the benevolent enjoy Leshan. In Longquan Mountain, a blessed land in Jiangcheng, travelers can enjoy the beautiful scenery of mountains and rivers, and archaeologists can also find a cave of their own. April is a good time for an outing. The beautiful Longquan Mountain is definitely a resort for outdoor hiking.
