Donglan is located in the northwest of Guangxi, on the southern edge of Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau and in the middle reaches of Hongshui River. It is adjacent to Jinchengjiang District in the east, Fengshan County in the west, Dahua County and Bama County in the south, Nandan County and Tiane County in the north, 308 kilometers away from Nanning, the capital of the autonomous region, and 0/30 kilometers away from Jin Chengjiang Town, Hechi City. Topography and climate
Donglan is located in the southern margin of Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau and in the mountainous area of northwest Guangxi. The terrain is high in the north and low in the south, and it slopes from northwest to southeast. Rivers flow into Hongshui River from northeast and southwest along the terrain.
