Shake a wisp of acacia to hometown —— Houshanpu in memory

Houshanpu, my hometown. Houshanpu, my native hometown, Houshanpu, my beloved hometown.

Houshanpu used to be an important town on the ancient post road, but now it is a bright pearl on the tourist highway from Wuzu Temple to Sizu Temple and even in the depths of Dabie Mountain.

The mention of Houshanpu often reminds people of many past events.

Houshanpu is a long street, which she passes through in history.

The area around Houshanpu was called Shichun Town before the Republic of China, and the resident of Shichun Town has been in Houshanpu (there is also a Shichun Town in the street below Houshanpu). Houshanpu is very famous. People from ten miles and eight townships in this area go out to register, saying that they are from Houshanpu. The big river shop in this area is Houshanpu except Dahe Town. Houshanpu has been two production teams (now residents' groups) since it became a collective.

The Celebrity of Houshanpu —— Revolutionary Martyr Ding Yang.

I remember that Ding Yang lived in the middle of the back hill shop, and his brother seemed to have inconvenient legs and feet and sat at home all day. His brother's name is Yang Duanxian, and now he lives in the street of Houshan. In the old house of Yang Dingjia, there lived a revolutionary martyr named Beidou and his son named Yu Jilie. During the Beidou Revolution, Yu fought side by side with revolutionary veterans such as Zou Yiqing in Huangmei County.

Houshanpu also has Yu Jingqun, the great hero of the Volunteers to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea. He took part in the Battle of Shangganling. In the battle, he rushed into the enemy position with explosives on his back and died with the enemy. People in our hometown will never forget such a war hero! * * * and the country will never forget!

Houshanpu is a treasure trove of geomantic omen. Because there is no written record, I don't know the historical origin of Houshanpu.

Although some people in Houshanpu call it "goose egg hard". But a long time ago, people of insight in the surrounding ten miles and eight townships moved from their fiery homeland to Houshanpu, where more people lived and gradually became a street. At that time, Houshan lived on the hengshan road behind Huangmei County, which was the only way for people to get in and out of Qichun Mountain and Huangmei Kaotian Mountain.

During the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period, people were afraid to walk because of the road ahead, and more people paved the road behind the mountains. Therefore, almost every resident of Houshanpu opened a shop. At that time, there were many restaurants (and accommodations) and some grocery stores. When I was a child, I still remember living in Mei Anmin's old house. An old woman named Huang Huodi also runs a small grocery store, selling some daily necessities such as cigarettes and soap. There is also a grandmother named Shi Jiumei who lives in the middle section. She was still selling some snacks such as twisted bean curd until the big group.

After liberation, Houshanpu has been very poor, almost all of them are thatched (straw) houses. At that time, on Wednesday, I often went to "mop up" the area near Tianshan. When I passed through Houshanpu, it was often a big fire that burned the thatched house in Houshanpu. Therefore, some people call Houshanpu a "smoking place".

Since the founding of the Republic of China, the face of Houshanpu has changed with each passing day.

In the early days of liberation, a wooden and iron cooperative was established in Yu Jia Ancestral Temple (belonging to the collective economy), and a supply and marketing cooperative Houshan Branch was established in Xiajie Street (belonging to the state-owned nature), dealing in department stores, cloth, groceries and other commodities, covering almost the daily necessities of ordinary people.

Later, according to the organizational system, the Yutang Township Government was established in Houshanpu, with its office located in Xia Jie Street. Later, it was changed to Yutang management area according to the organizational system. The administrative area has been moved to the village Committee of Houshanpu Village. There used to be a primary school here.

There is another unforgettable thing. The brigade decided to open a comprehensive supply and marketing store in Houshan, and decided to start with the local water bridge at Fangdun. Because there were no private shops (and no large collective stores) around at that time, business has been very good. At that time, the purchase channel was the warehouse of Kuzhu Supply and Marketing Cooperative. Although we were free to purchase goods, there was no other purchase channel at that time. At that time, there were no mechanical means of transportation, and all the goods were manually pulled by trolleys (even in cooperative branches). At that time, our store bought some nylon mesh woven mosquito nets from private merchants, which were relatively easy to sell. Later, I learned that every family in Fujian produces this kind of mosquito net, and the price is very cheap. So Fang Shuiqiao and I agreed that I would go to Fujian to purchase goods.

This is the first time I have walked out of this distance, and it can also be said that it is the first step of my "wandering the rivers and lakes". I hitchhiked across the river and got on the train from Jiujiang old railway station. Of course, I bought a hard seat ticket for the whole journey, and my calf was swollen.

The above are basically some "big things" in Houshanpu. In the depths of my memory, there are still many trivial things that have been dusty for a long time and are unforgettable so far.

At that time, a public health center was set up in the current village Committee, and several doctors went to work. Dr. Shi Xinchun from our Houshanpu is also the director of the hospital. In the early 1950s, a respected celebrity lived in Houshanpu. He is Liu Xun Lao (named Yongming Mountain), known as "Teacher Liu". He lives in the street. When I was a child, I dislocated my wrist with the help of his master.

Below the Houshanpu is probably the place behind Yin Haizhou's home. There are many big camphor trees and maple trees, and only a few people can hug them. We used to play there when we were young. For example, playing hide-and-seek, catching chickens, hopscotch, kicking shuttlecock (we called it kicking "swallows" at that time), big boys playing "catching badminton", girls playing catching stones and so on. We often have a good time.

At that time, there was no electric fan at all in summer (even the electricity was not connected), and there was no mosquito-repellent incense and mat. I only use cattail leaf fans in summer. At night, people who take to the streets carry a small bamboo bed or wooden door panels to the back hill to enjoy the cool, and sometimes even sleep until dawn, so that dew mosquitoes can't care.

There is a big place in front of the cooperative branch under the street, where they can enjoy the cool or sleep as in the street.

In those difficult times, people longed for a happy life! It was not until many years later that people circulated such words: upstairs and downstairs, electric lights and telephones; Fried dough sticks are too early, and oil noodles stay overnight (dinner). People think this is just an idea, but how to realize it? Nowadays, these words have not only become the reality of every family.

Now the shops in Houshan are full of foreign buildings, and the old houses have been renovated and widened. Many families have their own private cars. There are still many talented people who can make a fortune, become outstanding entrepreneurs and become "local tyrants" families on the rich side. Houshanpu is becoming more and more beautiful!
