A circle is 360 degrees. The ancients divided this circle into eight directions: the eight diagrams, that is, the east faces west, the north starts from Nankan, the northwest is southwest of Kunming, and the northeast is southeast. Twenty-four mountains are equally divided into 360 degrees, each with 15 degrees. Each hexagram in the eight diagrams represents three directions, so the direction of each hexagram is 45 degrees, so the intersection of eight directions is the "empty line", which means the direction is empty. Empty orientation means that the father and son turn against each other, the husband and wife are not harmonious, and the family is ruined. The ancients thought that this was a fierce pattern, and most people would not choose this orientation when building a house.
This kind of "empty house" is a kind of geomantic omen. Up to now, many people still believe that geomantic omen is a kind of metaphysics beyond scientific cognition.
But in fact, feng shui is not completely credible, and the location of the house is not very important. There is no scientific basis for this. If you want to live a good life, you must work hard and maintain family relationships. If everyone is selfish and only thinks about themselves, then no matter what the house is, it is possible to separate. Don't be too superstitious about Feng Shui. Happiness is in your own hands. Only by keeping your feet on the ground can you really live a good life, even if you live in an empty house.
