Today, our country’s archaeological and scientific and technological levels are immature, and the preservation methods of excavated cultural relics are not advanced. So far, there is no effective, scientific and economical excavation system. Excavation of a large tomb is technically difficult. It is not as simple as "opening the tomb door and just moving things out"!
With the current most advanced cultural relics protection technology, it is difficult to achieve foolproof protection of unearthed cultural relics and signs. For example, the Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses were colorful when they were first unearthed, but they turned into the gray color they are today due to oxidation problems.
Qin Shihuang’s Mausoleum: It is a famous emperor’s mausoleum in the history of our country. It is large in scale and has a unique structure, which is admired by the world. According to Feng Shui theory, it is where the dragon veins of China are located. If you dig it without permission, it may damage the Feng Shui. Furthermore, researchers discovered some robber holes near the Mausoleum of Qin Shihuang, but none of these robber holes led to the interior of the mausoleum, and they gave up halfway through digging. Cowardly tomb robbers don't dare to dig randomly, which shows that there are really unspeakable things inside the Mausoleum of Qin Shihuang.
Wu Zetian’s Tomb: Located on Liangshan Mountain a few kilometers north of Qian County, Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province, it is called Qianling. The joint tomb of Tang Gaozong and Wu Zetian is also a rare tomb in history where two important figures are buried at the same time. According to the investigation by historians, this tomb is probably the only tomb among the eighteen tombs of the Tang Dynasty that has not been robbed, and its preciousness can be seen in general.
Li Shimin’s Tomb Zhaoling: The Zhaoling Mausoleum of Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty and Empress Changsun has more than hundreds of tombs, mainly including Changsun Wuji, Cheng Yaojin, Wei Zheng, Qin Qiong, Wen Yanbo, Duan Zhixuan, and Gao Shilian , Fang Xuanling, Kong Yingda, Li Jing, Yuchi Jingde, Princess Changle, Wei Guifei, etc., as well as the tombs of ethnic minority generals Ashina Sheer and others. Most of the imperial tombs of the Tang Dynasty were built on mountains. Compared with the imperial tombs of the Han Dynasty or the Ming and Qing Dynasties, they are more troublesome to excavate. It will definitely destroy the tomb passage or tomb chamber and cause damage to the cultural relics in the tomb.
Out of an attitude of respecting the deceased and protecting cultural relics, if you suddenly enter a tomb that has been sealed for thousands of years, the precious cultural relics may scatter in the wind and cease to exist.
