This great prophet is best at fortune-telling. It is said that both Li Shimin and Wu Zetian asked Yuan Tiangang to calculate fortunes, and they were both very accurate. Yuan Tiangang once saw the faces of Du Yan, Wang Gui and Wei Ting in Luoyang City. After seeing them, he directly predicted that the first person would become famous for his literary talents. The second person will definitely reach the fifth rank within ten years. The third person will have the appearance of a tiger and will serve as a military attaché in the future for the imperial court. But they will all be demoted in the end, but everyone will meet again then. Sure enough, during the Takeru years, the first person was elected as a bachelor of Tiance, the second person was elected as a fifth-grade minister by Li Jiancheng, and the third person became a military attaché, Zuo Wei . However, when the three of them were rising through the ranks, they were demoted to Junzhou at the same time because they were involved in a coup. Surprisingly, I met Yuan Tiangang here again. Yuan Tiangang met the three of them again and said: "The public rank is expensive in the end, and in the end it can be promoted to the third rank." As expected.
There is also a folk legend that Wu Zetian asked Yuan Tiangang and Li Chunfeng to find the Longling acupoint for herself. After receiving the order, Yuan Tiangang searched both sides of the Yellow River but could not find a place he liked. Later, I came to Guanzhong and went out to watch the sky at midnight. I saw a mountain with purple gas rising into the sky, which happened to intersect with the Beidou. Yuan Tiangang believed that it was a treasure land, so he hurried up the mountain to find the right location. However, he couldn't find anything to mark it, so he took out a copper coin and put it on the ground and covered it with loose soil. Then he went down the mountain and returned to the court.
After receiving the order, another Feng Shui master, Li Chunfeng, traveled eastward along the Weishui River in search of treasures. When the sun was shining brightly at noon one day, he saw a strange rocky mountain suddenly appeared on the land of Qinchuan: looking from south to north, it looked like a young woman sleeping naked under the blue sky and white clouds. The young woman had complete facial features and a pair of firm and symmetrical breasts. Even the nipples and belly button are present. What made him even more miraculous was that the young woman's legs were slightly apart, and there was a clear spring flowing in the middle all day long! Li Chunfeng was greatly surprised, so he hurried up the mountain, took Ziwu with his figure, made Bagua with gravel, pulled out the starting pin and pierced it into the soil at the intersection of the two fishes, and then went back down the mountain to return to his life.
Wu Zetian heard from the two men that they had selected auspicious places in the same direction, and sent people to review them. After the minister came to Liangshan, he found that Li Chunfeng's hair pin was stuck in the eye of Yuan Tiangang's copper coin!
