The meaning of Longmen
Legend has it that the Longmen was carved by Dayu. The river is in a turbulent state, and the water has been sandwiched by mountains for a long time. There are cliffs on both sides, and the high boulder seems to fall off as soon as it leans against the cliff. The ancients once said that water is not a mason's chisel, but it can enter the stone. Sure enough, Longmen water flows meet and collide, and white water vapor floats in the air like a cloud. People walking in the distance seem to be entangled in fog and look deep into the clouds, which is really a thrilling feeling. The river stirred up a thousand waves, like a waterfall.
