Chengde Building, located in the center of Meizhou, is the best preserved typical Hakka traditional residence enclosure dragon house in Meizhou. Liang Jiong, the builder of Star Building, is a native of Guiwo Town, Ding 'an-Yi Zhe, the triangle area of Jiaying County, Guangdong Province. In the 20th century, he was an overseas Chinese leader in Siam (now Thailand) and also engaged in business. It took ten years from the foundation of 1885 to the completion of 1896. Covers an area of 3780 square meters. It has a two-story civil racing building structure, with three halls, two horizontal Yi Long wai, eight halls, eight wells and eighteen halls. There are 83 upstairs and downstairs, which are divided into front garden wind pool and back garden feng shui fruit tree. The whole floor is oval.
