Interview with Wang Kaixun in Qing Dynasty

Wang Kaixun is not from the Qing Dynasty, but contemporary.

Wang Kaixun, male, was born in February 1925. Graduated from National Southwest Normal School. He is currently a teacher at Zhaotong Ethnic Middle School in Yunnan. Director of the World Association of Painters and Calligraphers, invited painter of Yunnan National Painting Academy, and senior researcher of Zhongyuan Painting and Calligraphy Research Institute. Engaged in China painting and calligraphy for many years, and became a family of its own. Often participate in painting and calligraphy exhibitions in various provinces and cities or serve as judges. In his prime, he led students to design and carve classical pavilions, beams and buildings, draw large murals and calligraphy and painting exhibitions for Ludian Wenping Park, Zhaotong Military Division and Zhaotong General Machinery Factory. 1980 participated in the world calligraphy exhibition in Australia, 1986 won the third prize of "gardener" painting and calligraphy exhibition in Yunnan province in September, and 12 won the first prize in Zhaotong area. 1996 won the Excellence Award of China "Furong" Cup Poetry, Painting and Calligraphy Printing Grand Prix; 1997 won the national "Central Plains" Cup Masters Invitational Exhibition Elite Award, etc. 1999 won the international honorary gold medal of the second "World Chinese Art Award" and enjoyed the honorary title of "Outstanding Chinese Artists in the World". Personal biographies are included in Volume I of Who's Who among the People in China, Dictionary of Famous Painters and Calligraphers across the Taiwan Strait, Selected Inks of Contemporary Painters and Calligraphers, Who's Who in the World, Who's Who in Contemporary Art in China, Collection of Winners of China Furong Cup Grand Prix and Huaxia Yilin. His works and deeds are often published in Yunnan Daily, Spring City Evening News, Zhao Bulletin, Yunnan Old and other newspapers and magazines. His works have been exhibited in Hongkong, Japanese, Australian, Taiwan Province and Singapore, and have been collected by many institutions.
