Changsha Normal University is divided into two campuses, the south campus is located in Xingsha and the north campus is located in Ansha. The north campus is newly built with good hardware facilities, but the traffic is not as convenient as the south campus. What campus is the school divided into by major? My major is in the south campus with a long history, so the overall environment is definitely worse than that in the north campus. There are Lotus Apartment on campus and Jin 'an Apartment off campus, all of which are six rooms with bunk beds. Both the Lotus Apartment and the North Campus are equipped with air conditioners, but Jin 'an is rented by the school, so there is no air conditioner on the old line, and it will be hot in summer.
Then there is a place to print materials downstairs in the dormitory, but the price is expensive. You can choose to go to the school's self-service printer to print, and it will be cheaper here in 0.3 yuan. The north campus is a dormitory for four people, and the bed is under the desk. Both the North Campus and the South Campus have separate bathrooms. There is a small shop downstairs in the dormitory, so it is convenient to buy daily necessities.
In terms of travel, the south campus has convenient transportation, including buses and subway stations. Changsha Normal Bus Station is about 200 meters away from the school, and Xingsha subway station is a little far if you walk, but it's ok, 1.4km.
In terms of entertainment, the South Campus is adjacent to Teli Park, which was established in memory of Mr. Xu Teli, the teacher of President Mao Zedong and the founder of the school. Usually people often dance square dance in the park, or go for a walk in the park! On weekends, you can also go to Wanxianghui, Wuyi Square and Songya Lake near the school, where you can fly kites and have picnics. There are also Orange Island and Yuelu Mountain, which are not far from the school and convenient to take the subway. There is a big playground and gymnasium in the school. You can play badminton, table tennis, basketball and football. Relax yourself.
