Why are there seven Qing women sitting in the iron-toothed bronze-toothed tomb in Ji Xiaolan?

The seven Qing women sitting in front of Ji Xiaolan's tomb should be Ji Xiaolan's handmaids, who died for Ji Xiaolan. Modern archaeologists found that Ji Xiaolan's tomb was in his hometown of Cangzhou, Hebei Province, and was buried with his wife Ma. Ji Xiaolan presided over the revision and usurpation of Sikuquanshu, and it was highly valued by the emperor in the Qing Dynasty. Jiaqing personally wrote the memorial and inscription for him, so the tomb specifications in Ji Xiaolan were very high. Because of the high specifications of his tomb, Ji Xiaolan told him not to be buried in the ancestral grave of Jijiazu after his death, but to open a new cemetery covering tens of acres, which is the new cemetery of Ji Xiaolan, his wife and future generations.

Ji Xiaolan's wife, six concubines, four sons and descendants are all buried in this cemetery. This was the Feng Shui array calculated by Ji Xiaolan himself for Mr. Feng Shui at that time. After being buried in the children of wives and concubines, there is a good feng shui of "holding children and grandchildren". In this cemetery, Ji Xiaolan and his wife Ma Shi were buried together, including seven concubines of Ji Xiaolan, and several small graves where Ji Xiaolan's son was buried.

According to historical records, except Ma Shi, his wife buried with Ji Xiaolan, all the concubines in Ji Xiaolan have their own separate tombs. According to historical records, Ji Xiaolan "has no meat, no food, no women and no happiness". He has not only one wife and six concubines, but also seven concubines who have no birthright. According to the rules of the Qing Dynasty, it is impossible to accompany the maid to be buried with Ji Xiaolan after her death, let alone disturb Ji Xiaolan who has been buried for a long time.

According to the human sacrifice system at that time, it is speculated that the seven female remains sitting in Ji Xiaolan's tomb are probably Ji Xiaolan martyrs a hundred years later.
