First, the display of idols should pay attention to two points:
1. location: the place where the gods are worshipped should be quiet and free from filth and sundries.
2. Devotion: Whether you worship incense or worship, you must be sincere. This is the truth of "respecting God as God exists".
Second, the taboo of God's position.
1: Avoid facing the kitchen door.
Kitchen is a recognized hot spot in geomantic omen. If the gods are placed right in front of the kitchen door, it is disrespectful to the gods. Moreover, the heat in the kitchen will form a pattern of "dry fire pressing god", which will lead to the suppression of divine power. This will not only not be blessed by the energy of the gods, but also lead to bad temper of family members and affect their health. The solution is to put a feng shui gourd between the shrine and the kitchen, or put five emperors' money and Kirin.
2. Avoid facing the toilet door.
Besides being harmful to the kitchen door, it is actually worse than the toilet door. Toilets are places where human excrement and miscellaneous things are excreted, and a large number of dirty pathogens are accumulated, with heavy humidity. It is disrespectful to worship a noble throne in a place facing the toilet door. Moreover, this practice will lead to an increase in family illness, which is not conducive to family fortune. If you want to resolve it, you can hang a hundred blessings gourd between the shrine and the toilet, or hang five emperors' money outside the toilet door.
3. Avoid facing the bedroom door.
The bedroom belongs to a very private field. Especially the marriage room of husband and wife is not conducive to welcoming God. We worship the gods with respect. If you choose the place where the bedroom door is right, it is suspected of offending the gods. Generally speaking, there is something wrong with God's position in the family. Usually, children's uneasiness will be more sensitive, such as frequent crying. Or the increase of family diseases is also a signal that something is wrong with the gods.
4. Avoid facing the mirror.
The shrine is a solemn and low-key worship and the sustenance of the family spirit. When offering sacrifices to God at home, it should not be placed in a fierce position, and the place of offering sacrifices should not be too narrow. There should be no mirror in front of the shrine. Because the mirror itself is a double-edged sword-like object in Feng Shui, it will reflect more than one god when facing the gods, resulting in a pattern of "unclear theme". So don't let the mirror shine in the place where the shrine is worshipped, or the fortune of the family will become ups and downs.
