It is the center of life, the facade of the house, and a barrier to divide social and private space. Doors are closely related to the flow of air inside and outside. Because the air inside and outside can't pass through the tight walls of the house, it's much easier to pass through the door. The outer door affects the entrance and exit of the outside air into the house, which will be influenced by the feng shui of the door. Therefore, how to open the door of the house is very particular.
Open the door from four main directions
China's traditional four directions, east, west, north and south, are not symbolized by four kinds of spirits, namely peacock, snake turtle, dragon and white tiger. Its orientation formula is: "Former Suzaku, Back Xuanwu, Left Qinglong, Right White Tiger." Generally, there are four main options for opening a house, namely, opening the south gate (Zhuquemen), opening the left gate (Qinglong Gate), opening the right gate (Baihumen) and opening the north gate (Xuanwu Gate).
In feng shui, it is auspicious to have a bright hall in front of the door. If there is greening, flat land, pool and parking lot in front, opening the middle door is the first choice. If there is no big hall in front, it is better to open the door on the left, because there is a dragon on the left, and it is auspicious. The right belongs to the white tiger, which is generally inferior, and it is not good to open the door on the right. Opening the north gate is Xuanwu Gate, which means "losing", so be cautious.
