Weinan, a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Shaanxi Province, was called Xialuan and Lianshao in ancient times. Located in the middle reaches of the Yellow River, east of Guanzhong Plain in Shaanxi Province. It borders Shaanxi and Henan in the east, xi and Xianyang in the west, Qinling and Shangluo in the south and Huanglong Mountain, Qiao Shan, Yan 'an and Tongchuan in the north. Administrative divisions of Weinan and their evolution
