How to exhaust the air in the water tank?
Start the engine, idle for about 8 minutes, and unscrew the water tank cover. At this point, the cooling system will exhaust some air. Start the engine and tighten it only when the tap water in the return pipe is continuous. If the lid is tightened in advance, the air in return pipe will not be discharged, and the water in the system will not circulate, which is prone to high temperature. 2. Automatic exhaust is brought back to the water pipe. As long as the return pipe doesn't block the water flow, there is no need to exhaust manually, and the engine is kept running, the water tank will exhaust itself. Because there is a drain pipe at the top of the water tank, the gas temperature and water temperature are relatively high. When the cooling water expands, the air will be discharged into the atmosphere through the drain pipe. 3. Warm up the vehicle for about 8 minutes after starting. After the cooling fan rotates, the liquid level of antifreeze will drop a little. At this time, fill it with antifreeze and cover the water tank. This is also the simplest way to exhaust the automobile water tank. Automobile water tank generally refers to radiator, which belongs to automobile cooling system. The radiator in the engine water cooling system consists of three parts: water inlet chamber, water outlet chamber, main board and radiator core. When exhausting, flush the water pipe branch pipe at the highest position on the engine to exhaust. Remove the water pipe connector at the highest position. Then you can add antifreeze. Start the car and wait until the water temperature is normal. Touch it with your hand after the electronic fan rotates. If the inlet pipe and outlet pipe of the engine water tank have the same temperature, it proves that the thermostat is open, and there is no shortage of antifreeze in the water tank at this time. Attention should be paid to the exhaust of the engine water tank: exhaust must be carried out when the engine is cold, and do not open the water tank cover or drain valve when the antifreeze temperature is high to avoid burns. Don't screw on the lid immediately after adding enough water, start the engine, and then screw it on when the water in the return pipe keeps flowing. Expansion: After starting the car and the water temperature is normal, the electronic fan rotates and touches it by hand. If the temperature of the inlet pipe and outlet pipe of the engine water tank is the same, it proves that the thermostat is open, and there is no shortage of antifreeze in the water tank at this time, indicating that the air has been exhausted.
