Sohu's history column mentioned that it is said that Lu Ban was given a new task by the king of Chu when his wife was pregnant, and he could not accompany his wife all the year round for fear that she would feel lonely. So, Lu Ban made a wooden toy in the shape of a bird. As long as the switch is pressed, the toy will automatically fly to his wife and bring her happiness.
Unexpectedly, when Lu Ban showed the toy to his wife, she turned on the switch and tried to manipulate the bird, but her abdomen suddenly swelled violently. The sudden delivery made her panic and failed to control the "big bird", which caused it to suddenly fall, thus killing Lu Ban's wife and the child in her belly. Lu Ban was heartbroken when he learned the bad news, so he made a poison oath. Only the carpenter who contacts and studies his book "Lu Ban Shu" will eventually be "short of doors" and cannot avoid a fate of "widowhood, widowhood, loneliness and disability".
When this poison oath came out, it caused great panic at that time. It was not until 2000 that when researchers opened this mysterious book on civil architecture, they found that besides architectural technology, there were also many references to geomantic metaphysics in architecture. The first volume contains many Daoism, while the second volume contains solutions and medical spells. It can be seen that Lu Ban is not only a craftsman, but also a highly accomplished "master of geomantic metaphysics".
