On March 29th, the reporter came to the old people in Longquanyuan community to learn about TieThe story of the memorial arch. Liu Lao took out the long-cherished photo of Tengzhou Iron Arch and told his memory about it.
The original site of Tengzhou Tiepaifang is located on the east side of Beimenli Street Road, and it has been built into Sifang City Community. Tengzhou Tiepailou is a palace pavilion, with a height of13m, a height in the middle and a height on both sides, supported by eight iron columns at the top and eight colored terrazzo columns at the bottom. Each iron column in the upper part is connected with the extended stone column and cornice bucket arch in the lower part. There is a cubic I-shaped abutment stone on both sides of the iron workshop. There is an iron lion two meters high on the stage. Tiefang archway is cast with eight characters in regular script: "The moon shines on the eaves, and birds return to the arch". There are three plaques in the center of the front. The top block is cast with the word "imperial edict" of Xiao Zhuan. There is an inscription in regular script in the middle: "Before the Ming Dynasty, Governor Huaiyang, under the military pay system, Huang Zhi's wife, grandson of Huang Jiarui, mother of Huang Zhong, visited". The words "Qin Jing Xiao Jie" are cast on the bottom.
Tengzhou Iron Arch is also called Xiao Jie Arch. Mr. Liu explained that the owner of the iron archway is Huang Zhong. Huang Zhong's father, Huang Zhong, died young, while his mother kept her virginity until she died unmarried. Huang Zhong built an iron archway in memory of his mother. This iron archway is also a building that can reflect the feudal ethics of ancient women in China.
According to Liu Kangshi, the photo of Tengzhou Tiepailou in his hand was taken by a friend when he was 1966 "breaking the capitalism". After that, a friend developed a photo and sent it to him. But due to the passage of time, his friend's photos and negatives have long since disappeared, and he is the only one. Although the iron archway was destroyed, fortunately, the photos were preserved. The iron archway model of Luban Memorial Hall was made according to this precious photo. Liu Lao regards photos as treasures, and many tourists come to ask for them, but they are all rejected by him. This photo is unique in Tengzhou.
Although the iron archway has been destroyed, its cultural value is immeasurable. Feudal "squares", such as stone squares and wood squares, can be seen everywhere in China, but the iron square is Liao Ruoxing.
