China in Classics is a large-scale cultural program jointly launched by CCTV Comprehensive Channel and CCTV Creative Media, with Sa Beining as the contemporary reader, Wang Jianing as the host and Tian Qinxin as the artistic director.

China in Classics focuses on the classics that are well-known at home and abroad and spread through the ages, and tells the history of Chinese civilization from the classics.
Relying on the classic cultural IP, the program captures the highlights of the classics in another way, connects the pearls in series into a cultural chain, constructs a profound, comprehensive and insightful historical map of cultural communication and exchanges, and combs the context of Chinese civilization.
The program sets up two stages, namely "historical space" and "real space", innovates the program form, adopts film and television shooting techniques in the historical space, and presents classic stories intuitively.
The program invites well-known directors as film and television directors, film and television guests with good reputation and strong strength to perform story interpretation, and combines stage techniques such as screen projection, AR and real-time tracking to show the birth, circulation and inheritance of classic books in the Millennium history.
Aiming at the in-depth development of the new media platform, the program designed a variety of content products, such as network-derived variety shows, short videos, new media interactive products, and realized the "overlapping screen" of large and small screen linkage.
