No matter whether it is furniture, office or shop, the gods can't face the gate, otherwise it is a taboo to guard the gate with the gods. In particular, you can't face the god of wealth, because the meaning of this placement inadvertently symbolizes sending the god of wealth out. But there are some exceptions, that is, the worship of Wu Caishen Guan Yu and Wei Tuo Bodhisattva is not included, because Wei Tuo belongs to the patron saint in Buddhism, and Guan Yu is aggressive and holds a broadsword. In addition to making money, it also has the function of deterring evil spirits.
2. God can't face the bedroom.
Putting a shrine in the bedroom is well-intentioned, but there are taboos: it is taboo to let the gods who worship fear watch you sleep freely; If men and women get married in pairs and have sex, they can't put idols in the bedroom, otherwise they will become disrespectful.
3. God can't face the toilet.
The shrine does not directly face the toilet, but is not allowed to face the toilet sideways. Because the toilet is an unclean place for excreting human excrement, if you can see the flushing toilet in the toilet at a glance from the shrine at the moment when the toilet door is opened, that is a big taboo.
4. God is not suitable for the living room.
The Buddha and Bodhisattva in the statue all belong to the idols of Fopudu, forbidding to kill and protect the students, and people's meals are inevitably all fish and meat. Eating meat and fish is a taboo for Bodhisattva. Besides, even if you eat vegetables, it is not elegant to eat them in front of the bodhisattva.
The back of the wall of the shrine is not suitable for toilet.
Behind the wall of the shrine, avoid the toilet, especially the side where the toilet is placed. Otherwise, the stench oozing from the wall and the sound of toilet pumping will always make the idols separated by a wall feel uncomfortable.
6. The back of the wall of the shrine is not suitable for kitchen.
Behind the wall of the shrine, it is best not to be the kitchen, especially the side of the kitchen where the gas stove is placed. Otherwise, it will be smoky, and after a long time, it is inevitable that fire and heat will pass through the back wall, causing the wall to catch fire and making the idol uneasy.
7. The altar can't be placed next to the refrigerator.
Or put it under the air conditioner, or the refrigerator will be too cold, and the air conditioner will make the great god uneasy.
8, the gods avoid the bottom.
Many bedrooms often put a board on the wall to worship the gods. The bottom of the board is completely empty, which seems to have an empty feeling. In addition, buckets, fish tanks and the like are not allowed under the head.
9. God behind taboos.
It is better to have a wall behind the statue, so that there is a real feeling of offering sacrifices to God. If you wait on the windowsill, you will feel that the back is empty, which is always a bad sign.
10, sundries cannot be piled on the shrine.
Generally speaking, it is best to keep the shrine clean. Besides wiping the dust every day, be careful not to put sundries on shrines or shrines. Otherwise, the sundries will be flooded and it will be unlucky.

Clothes, especially pants, underwear, underpants, women's bras and underwear, should not be dried in the visible range of the shrine. Similarly, don't change underwear, shoes and socks in front of idols.
12, the shrine should not be placed on the toilet or kitchen.
Toilets are dirty places. Cooking in the kitchen is bound to kill chickens and fish, pollute the world and kill lives. If the immortal has a spirit, he will always feel uneasy and should pay attention to avoiding it.
13. For duplex houses, the shrine should not be placed under the bedroom.
If the shrine is placed under the bedroom, it is inevitable that there will be marital affairs between the man and the woman, and sometimes there will be quarrels. This is also a disrespect for the gods. Avoid it if you can, and be careful.
14, the shrine should be placed in the highest place.
Except the land god, don't put the gods under your sight, otherwise, putting the gods below will cause a sense of neglect that makes people look down, and then lose their sense of awe.
15, the size of idols should be proportional.
The size of the altar and the idol should be in proper proportion to the space of the house, neither too big nor too small, otherwise it will cause disharmony.
16, the offerings should be fresh.
Flowers and fruits provided in front of the statue must be kept fresh. If the branches turn yellow or the fruits are ripe and rotten, they must be replaced, otherwise it is better not to offer them.
17, offering incense to God, sincerity is spiritual.
In order to be safe and reduce indoor air pollution, we can get the number of incense by lighting only one incense every day instead of candles, or one incense every morning and evening. If you have something urgent or important to ask God to worship Buddha, you might as well light three incense sticks for spiritual comfort.
18, you need to behave yourself in front of the gods.
Men and women can't do intimate actions, can't speak loudly, and can't swear. Sacrificing idols can play a role of strict self-discipline in some aspects, which is naturally the sublimation of self-soul.
