Temple is a kind of Buddhist religious architecture, with male believers (monks) as the mainstay, offering sacrifices to Buddha. The term "an" is mainly aimed at female religious believers (nuns) living in residential areas; Taoist architecture dedicated to the real people of Sanqing is called "Guan".
1. Buddhism has been introduced to China for more than two thousand years. Therefore, despite the modernization of temple buildings, the appearance and modeling of buildings should be mainly antique buildings. Although the building structure and building materials are modern, the appearance and modeling should be imitated as much as possible, reflecting the uniqueness and symbol of temple architecture.
2. Architectural design;
(1) Try to make it a quadrangle-style building, with a big courtyard surrounded by the concierge, the left and right wing rooms and the main hall, which can be used as a Dojo for the master to hold major activities and an important viewing place for individual travelers.
(2) According to the owner's requirements, the scale of temple construction, total investment, etc. It is necessary to design in several stages. Generally, a small temple is integrated, that is, a patio, surrounded by a left-right horizontal gatehouse, a row of wings arranged left and right vertically, and the last main hall (Daxiong Hall) parallel to the gatehouse.
The larger one is binary, that is, two patios, and the larger one is generally designed as ternary. If it is on a larger scale, it must be done according to the requirements of the host monk (exorcist), because as far as temple design is concerned, generally speaking, the host monk (exorcist) has a plan in mind.
