The origin of Cai Xiyan's name.
Cai Xi has a long history. According to the Records of Xinghua County, there were nine temples and monks in Fengshan, Guang Zhi in the Tang Dynasty. When they saw this famous mountain, they practiced and preached in building houses. He doesn't eat fireworks, but picks wild vegetables for food. Because he often washes vegetables by the stream, the leaves drift with the waves, and the villagers at the foot of the mountain see the leaves drifting on the stream, so he calls it the vegetable stream. Yan Guanghan, a famous scholar in the Qing Dynasty, said in a poem: The waterfalls are all flying in the stone chambers, and Wanshan presents the Yuhuatai. Tourists are not surprised by the famous dishes in the stream. They come from the roots of the past. In the Northern Song Dynasty, there was a man named Chen in Longhua, named Jun, who used to be a supervisor. He was at odds with Wang Anshi in Beijing, so he abandoned his official position and returned to China. Later, he traveled to Caixiyan with Cai Xiang's great-grandson Cai Shu, dreaming that Guanyin Bodhisattva was golden, and he lived there in seclusion that night. Caishu Temple was built at the foot of Caixi Mountain, hence the name Cai Xi. Today, the historical site of Cai Temple in the back seat of Xiangshan Temple still exists. So the history books are also called Cai Xi, while the locals are still called Cai Xi.
